Kenya is Burning To The Ground.

I didn’t imagine that we have leaders who are so selfish, foolish and arrogant. Sadly, those that lead us are not qualified to do so. What has been happening here in Kenya is simply genocide, people that have been paid to turn against their neighbors and friends. It’s an ethnic cleansing. Houses are being burned to the ground, people butchered to death, women raped and cut into pieces, children raped and sodomized. All this directed towards different ethnic groups. The international media ignores that, diplomatic missions pretend that that isn’t the case, and world leaders want to pretend as if it’s a simple political problem.
Too sad is the fact that now its affecting the whole country, all ethnic tribes. The victims are starting to retaliate in small numbers and if this continues we will have no nation to call home, all this is happening while the international community watches and does nothing. Actually they are ignoring the facts.
BUT! Our leaders are the worst....Both Leaders have failed us, none of them is even speaking about all this, but THEY ARE SPEAKING ALRIGHT.... speaking about their own personal egos and BBC and CNN are helping them shout the loudest. Who is shouting for all the Kenyans that have died, from all over the country and from all ethnic groups!!!!? Who is shouting for them, who is crying for them? WHO! Will all the so called journalist stand up and say something, ANYTHING please... Journalism is turning out to be as bad a profession if not evil as politics. If our leaders have failed in fighting for every single Kenyan, and not specific ones then SHAME ON THEM!!!!! And keep your opinions to yourselves, President or not. If you can’t fight for all of us then your not any different from those who took machetes and slaughtered their neighbors. You’re just like them if not worser.
The reality is that it isn’t just a political problem. It started off like one but recent events clearly show that this was a well planned out attack, long before the voting took place. All other tribes are calling for blood, some sadly even do it on international TV but nothing is been done about it. We are pretending that it’s not the case. Thousands have died, and displaced. Others have been all burned up inside churches and their homes. The political class is claiming that it’s the general public reacting to a rigged election. Question is why are they attacking their fellow countrymen, their neighbors, workmates and friends. And all those receiving the hate are from perceived supporters of a specific political outfit. This was and is well planned out. Our fellow Kenyan are being murdered in the presence of the whole world and no one is doing anything to STOP AND CORRECT IT. They don’t even seem to be the least interested. We all practiced our democratic right by voting, should some of us then be punished for choosing whoever we thought was best? Just because he comes from our community or their community!
Small girls and boys have been raped and sodomized. MY QUESTION?
How will they heal? Will they go back to normal? Will they ever trust anyone again? Will they live on as young children or will they become adults before their time?
Or are they just collateral damage?
Don’t pretend that this hasn’t happened.
DO SOMETHING!!!!! The world and our history will judge us all harshly.
